Japanese minister apologize for happiness of Slutskaya`s drop
The minister of sport of Japan Kengi Kosaki, congratulating Olympic champion in figure skating Shizuka Arakawa stated, that "felt the happiness" when he saw, as Russian Irina Slutskaya fell during the performance of arbitrary program.
Having received tens of letters with the words of protest from the amateurs of sport, the minister apologized "for his rash words".
"I`m so sorry that I pronounced these rash words. I bring my apologies to Arakawa and Slutskaya" stated Kosaki.
Let us recall, that the drop deprived Irina Slutskaya of chances not only to the gold, but also to the silver medal of the Olympic Games in Torino. As a result Russian woman got the third place. Let us recall, that at the past Olympiad in Salt- Lake-City she got the second place.
